The Usual Suspects formed as a group of international players back in 2001 during the hey day of America's Army. While some members are still faithful to the original game (in it's updated versions) others have moved on through Joint Ops, Battlefield 2 (and its expansions), Battlefield 2142, and currently COD4. We also have players that dabble in various other games (though we don't like to admit that some of our friends play or played WoW).
Regardless of what we play we believe in the core value of fair play. Over the years our members have been HEAVILY involved in the anti-cheat community. We have zero tolerance for cheating - NO excuses. That includes "ghosting" on our TS server. We don't condone it nor do we allow others to do it on our server.
Part of our reason for this stance is that, for the most part, we're a bunch of old farts. Okay, that might be taking it a bit far, but every Usual Suspect is over 18, unless they are the child of a member. If you'd like to apply, we welcome new members and screen them thoroughly. We believe that the mature gamer brings a better attitude to gaming...for the most part.
So enjoy your stay, come say "hi" in our forums, and come have fun shooting people with US! |

If you are a US. member and havent visited the site this year (2008), you have been set to inactive. All your rights remain intact, you are still a full member of the clan, the sole change is that an [i] has been added to the front of your name, to help the other clan members know if you are currently active when they look through the clan list and forums. Simply add the [i] to the front of your existing login credentials and you will be able to get into the site as before. If you plan on being active again, just go to update your profile, and remove the [i]. If you are just stopping by quickly to catch up, feel free to keep the [i] tag, so the rest of the clan know you aren't currently gaming, or remove the [i] tag, the choice is yours. |

Insurgency (INS) is a total conversion
modification using Valve Software's Source Engine. Insurgency immerses you, as
the player, into an intense and realistic online combat experience.
Set on the modern battlefields, Insurgency simulates modern
infantry combat that doesn’t just encourage the
use of teamwork and tactics, but makes it a requirement
of survival. On the streets of Iraq it is not safe to
be alone. Go head to head with guerrillas, insurgents
and resistance fighters, simulating the extreme conditions
faced on today's battlefields.
Engage in urban warfare where every window, doorway
or road block is a potential ambush point and every object on the street
needs to be watched with care. Fight against the occupation from behind windows
and burned cars, with your finger on the trigger and an unsuspecting patrol
down the street getting ever closer. Whatever you choose to do, Insurgency
is sure to get your pulse racing and make your breathing feel heavy
while you engage in such a unique and original combat experience.
